To celebrate the deep connection between the mythical serpent and the world of art, Bulgari is launching a capsule collection of Serpenti Forever handbags born from a collaboration with three contemporary artists, Sunwoo Kim, Zhou Li, and Sophie Kitching. Each bag is offered in a limited series of 75 pieces.

To mark the 75th anniversary of Serpenti, Bulgari unveils a capsule collection of handbags designed by three contemporary artists. Chinese artist Zhou Li, whose work ranges from painting to sculpture and installations, reinvents the Serpenti Forever handle with a more artistic touch. Named "Ocean," the first creation - with blue and pink tones - draws inspiration from the artist's series of paintings "Landscape of Nowhere: Water and Dreams," focusing on themes of freedom and hope. The second interpretation, "Forest," inspired by another famous series by the artist called "Spring," celebrates the power of nature and its infinite cycle of life.
On the other hand, Korean painter Sunwoo Kim - renowned for his depictions of birds - presents his "Day" version of the Serpenti Forever Top Handle bag, featuring an imaginary forest with raised green leaves, while the snakehead clasp boasts a rich palette of greens. The "Night" version immerses us in a nocturnal landscape, adorned with the iconic eight-pointed stars of Bulgari.

American artist Sophie Kitching also offers her two versions of the Serpenti Forever handbag, focusing on the serpent's duality and its infinite power of transformation. "Invisible Green" echoes her own series of paintings, presenting a myriad of colors, petals, and leaves. Nature-inspired motifs also grace the artist's second model, drawing inspiration from her own painting "Nocturne." Here, the enchanting contrast between intense colors and the black calfskin background alludes to the serpent's mysterious forms and metamorphosis.
An NFT experience has been associated with each bag, using cutting-edge technology to explore the various themes developed by the artists. Six three-dimensional videos - one for each model - provide each owner with exclusive access to a digital universe dedicated to their own handbag.
