A L&rsquo;Officiel St Barth exclusive: We spoke with <a href="https://mondayswimwear.com/">Monday Swimwear</a> founders Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman about their latest collection and their stunning campaign shot in St Barth.

JENNY MANNERHEIM: Monday Swimwear has become synonymous with effortless, confidence-boosting swimwear. How does this new collection build on that legacy?
NATASHA OAKLEY &amp; DEVIN BRUGMAN: This new collection builds on Monday Swimwear&rsquo;s legacy by staying true to our commitment to fit, comfort, and confidence. Every piece in the SU25 collection&mdash;both swim and resort&mdash;has been meticulously fitted and tested to flatter the female form and feel effortless to wear. Alongside our perfected best-sellers, we&rsquo;ve introduced exciting new styles we're incredibly proud of. The SU25 color palette is also something special&mdash;each shade was thoughtfully chosen to complement a range of skin tones and help every woman feel her best.
JM: You just shot your latest campaign in St Barth&mdash;what drew you to the island, and how did it influence the creative vision of the shoot?
NO:&nbsp;I have been visiting St Barth almost every year for the past 11 years, so it truly holds a special place in my heart beyond its obvious beauty. It&rsquo;s like a little slice of France in the Caribbean&mdash;unspoiled, effortlessly chic, and home to my favorite beach in the world. When it came time to shoot one of our most special and expansive collections to date, it felt only natural to return to a place that&rsquo;s been such a personal source of inspiration. 
Our creative director was actually inspired by a story in Vogue &rsquo;92 featuring Claudia Schiffer, shot by Marc Hispard in St Barth. That editorial became the launching pad for the entire campaign, and she even paid homage to one of the iconic images. That layered sense of nostalgia and timeless beauty really came through in the final visuals, especially at that same beach&mdash;which ended up being one of the hero locations and brought everything to life in the most authentic way.
JM: This collection will be available exclusively at Eden Rock&rsquo;s Boutique in St Barth. What makes this partnership so special for Monday Swimwear?
NO: As a brand renowned for being online-only, it&rsquo;s always a special moment when we partner with a boutique to offer our collection in a physical space. Eden Rock is truly iconic to St Barths and represents the epitome of effortless luxury&mdash;perfectly aligning with our brand values. Devin and I often stay there when we&rsquo;re in town, so this partnership feels especially personal. Having this collection available exclusively at such a sought-after destination allows us to connect with a global audience who shares our love for timeless style, elevated travel, and sun-soaked living.

JM: Your brand is deeply rooted in body positivity and inclusivity. How does this collection continue to embrace and celebrate different body types?
NO &amp; DB: As two women with very different body types, we always consider how a style will feel on a range of figures&mdash;not just how it looks. While we love introducing fresh designs, our best-selling pieces remain at the core of each collection for a reason&mdash;they&rsquo;re timeless, universally flattering, and fitted to perfection on a variety of body types. This collection continues to build on that foundation, offering styles that make women feel confident, supported, and beautiful.
JM: Monday Swimwear is known for its impeccable fit and luxurious fabrics. Can you walk us through the process of perfecting a new design before it launches?
NO &amp; DB: We have a really diligent fit process. Our incredible team works closely with multiple fit models of various sizes and shapes to make sure every piece flatters the body just right. We&rsquo;re committed to making sure our designs don&rsquo;t just look beautiful&mdash;they feel amazing and supportive on a wide range of body types. It&rsquo;s all about perfecting the fit before anything ever launches.
JM: Color plays a huge role in your collections. What inspired the color palette for this latest drop, and how do you choose shades that flatter every skin tone?
NO &amp; DB: We&rsquo;re constantly inspired by life, travel, and seasonal trends that align with the Monday Swimwear brand. When building a color palette, we&rsquo;re always thinking about how each shade will look on different skin tones&mdash;it&rsquo;s important to us that every color feels wearable and flattering on everyone. We also consider the time of year and how our customers want to feel in their swim, whether that&rsquo;s fresh and vibrant or soft and neutral.
JM: Adjustability and comfort are key elements of your designs. Were there any new innovations or details introduced in this collection to enhance the fit even further?
NO &amp; DB: A huge part of what makes Monday Swimwear special is our focus on adjustability. It allows for a more personalized fit&mdash;whether you're petite and busty, pear-shaped, or anything in between. In this collection, we continued to lean into that with styles that offer even more support, especially for the bust, along with thoughtful coverage options. Comfort is always at the core of what we do, and we aim to create pieces that feel like they were made just for you.

JM: Having built such a strong and loyal community of women, how does their feedback shape the evolution of Monday Swimwear?
NO: Our community has always been at the heart of everything we do at Monday Swimwear. From the beginning, Devin and I built this brand with real women in mind, and their feedback continues to shape every part of our evolution&mdash;from design details to sizing and even the destinations we shoot in. We listen closely to what our community wants, and we&rsquo;re constantly inspired by the way they wear and style our pieces. It&rsquo;s because of them that we&rsquo;ve been able to grow so authentically, and we&rsquo;re always striving to create collections that make women feel confident, supported, and beautiful in their own skin.
JM: You&rsquo;ve both been at the forefront of redefining modern swimwear. What trends or shifts in the industry are you most excited about right now?
NO &amp; DB: One of the most exciting shifts we&rsquo;re seeing in the industry is a greater emphasis on inclusivity and celebrating all body types. That&rsquo;s something we&rsquo;ve championed from day one, so it&rsquo;s amazing to see it becoming more of an industry standard. We&rsquo;re also loving the continued move toward sustainability&mdash;more brands are becoming conscious of their environmental impact, and that&rsquo;s something we&rsquo;re passionate about evolving within our own collections as well. From a style perspective, we&rsquo;re inspired by the return of bold, nostalgic silhouettes&mdash;high cuts, luxe textures, and feminine details that feel both timeless and fashion-forward. It&rsquo;s such an exciting time to be part of an industry that&rsquo;s finally aligning beauty, functionality, and purpose.
JM: Beyond swimwear, Monday has become a lifestyle. What&rsquo;s next for the brand, and are there any exciting expansions on the horizon?
NO &amp; DB: Monday really has become a lifestyle, and we love that our community feels that too. There are so many exciting things on the horizon for us, one of them being a flagship store location. As always, we&rsquo;re looking forward to our annual summer trip to Europe&mdash;it&rsquo;s such a source of inspiration for our collections and content. This year, we&rsquo;re also incredibly honored to be recognized in the Swimwear Hall of Fame at Miami Swim Week. We are very excited to be returning to Swim Week to also present our summer collections on the runway. It&rsquo;s a huge moment for us, and we&rsquo;re flying out our entire team to celebrate together. Moments like these remind us how far Monday has come and how much more we&rsquo;re excited to build.
JM: Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman, with 3.6 million and 1.5 million followers respectively, you are not just founders but also the faces of Monday Swimwear. How does your personal presence and influence help shape the brand&rsquo;s identity and connection with your audience?
NO: Being the faces of Monday Swimwear has always been such a natural extension of who we are. From the beginning, Devin and I set out to build a brand that felt personal, relatable, and rooted in real experiences&mdash;and sharing our lives with our community has been a big part of that. Our audience has grown with us over the years, and they trust our perspective, whether it&rsquo;s on style, travel, or wellness. That personal connection has helped shape Monday&rsquo;s identity as more than just a swimwear brand&mdash;it&rsquo;s a lifestyle. We&rsquo;re involved in every step of the process, from design to creative direction, and we always ask ourselves, &ldquo;Would we genuinely wear this? Do we feel confident in this?&rdquo; That authenticity is what resonates most with our audience and keeps the connection strong.

JM:&nbsp;You model your collections and serve as active ambassadors for Monday Swimwear. How important is it for you to personally represent the designs, and how does it impact the way women connect with your brand?
NO &amp; DB:&nbsp;It&rsquo;s really important to us to personally represent the designs&mdash;we&rsquo;ve done that since day one. Being so involved in every step of the process, from concept to fit, it feels natural to model the collections ourselves. It allows us to share the vision behind each piece in an authentic way. When women see us wearing the designs with confidence, it helps them imagine how they&rsquo;ll feel in them too. That personal connection has been key to building trust with our community and staying true to the brand&rsquo;s mission of making women feel beautiful, supported, and confident.
JM: You&rsquo;ve grown Monday Swimwear into a global success while staying true to your vision. What has been the most rewarding part of this journey as founders?
NO &amp; DB:&nbsp;The most rewarding part has been seeing the impact Monday Swimwear has had on women around the world. When we started, our vision was to create pieces that made women feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, and hearing how our community connects with that&mdash;whether it&rsquo;s through the fit, the message, or the lifestyle&mdash;means everything. Building a brand that has stayed true to our values while growing globally has been such a fulfilling journey. It&rsquo;s also incredibly special to do this as best friends and co-founders, and to share these milestones with a team we love and believe in.
JM:&nbsp;What are your personal favorite pieces from this collection, and how do you love to style them for a day in St Barth?
NO: I love our new Montego One Piece&mdash;it&rsquo;s quickly become a staple. The design originally started as a resortwear dress, and we&rsquo;ve now reimagined it as a one piece. It&rsquo;s such a chic and timeless silhouette that can be styled effortlessly with a sarong, our Piana sunglasses, and sandals for a day in St Barth.
DB:&nbsp;I&rsquo;m obsessed with our new Chain Geo print. The color and pattern are so striking&mdash;it&rsquo;s bold but still really elevated. It&rsquo;s one of those looks you can dress up with a linen shirt and statement jewelry or keep super relaxed for the beach with our new Jamaica Sarong. It&rsquo;s all about versatility and elegance, which is exactly what we aim for with every collection.
