PHILIPPE COMBRES: What is it about Jordana Gheler&rsquo;s designs that resonates with you as a symbol of the spirit of St Barth?
ANNA CAROLINA BASSI: The spirit of St Barth awakens in me a sense of freedom and tranquility, it&rsquo;s reflected in the pieces through the design of organic shapes that really evoke the essence of nature, like in the jewelry line made with rock crystal - that was love at first sight.&nbsp;&nbsp;
PC: St Barth is often seen as a meeting point for luxury and relaxation. How do you think this atmosphere influences fashion and jewelry trends?
ACB: I think it influences the free spirit of people on the island, people are relaxed but sophisticated. I envision women with their feet in the sand at Eden Rock - St Barths Beach, wearing textured outfits and special jewelry. I believe St Barth is a unique place for many reasons, but above all, because it&rsquo;s sophisticated, cool, and effortless.&nbsp;&nbsp;

PC: Jordana Gheler is launching an exclusive jewelry collection with Eden Rock &ndash; St Barths. Can you tell us about this iconic place and what makes it so unique?
ACB: The first time I set foot in St Barth, I knew it was a place I would return to every year, I prayed to God for that. This island has a light unlike anything I&rsquo;ve ever seen on the planet. As for Jordana launching an exclusive collection for Eden Rock - St Barths, all I can say is that the moment I saw and tried the pieces, I was certain the collab would be an absolute success.&nbsp;&nbsp;
PC: How does being in St Barth inspire your personal approach to fashion and accessorizing?&nbsp;
ACB: Being in St Barth inspires me in the creation of my looks and accessories, down to the details. I wake up motivated to get ready for a day at the beach at the Eden Rock - St Barths with care and attention, for me curating my suitcase for a trip to this magical island starts six months before I leave.&nbsp;

PC: What role do you think jewelry plays in creating a complete look?
ACB: In my opinion, jewelry is essential for creating a well-balanced look. They are little treasures that we, as women, love to collect throughout our lives.&nbsp;&nbsp;
PC: How does wearing Jordana Gheler&rsquo;s jewelry make you feel, and what message do you think it conveys to those who see you wearing it?
ACB: Jordana&rsquo;s jewelry is the essence of refined taste, you can see it in every detail. She has masterfully captured the DNA of the island and blended it with her own, in a way that is both powerful and delicate at the same time. I&rsquo;m in love!&nbsp;&nbsp;

PC: Do you think Jordana Gheler&rsquo;s designs have the potential to make a lasting impact on the international fashion scene?
ACB: Absolutely. I believe the essence of Jordana&rsquo;s pieces is evident in her choice of shapes, colors, and textures. In my opinion, she is going far.
PC: Lastly, based on your experience, what advice would you give Gheler as she looks to expand her brand beyond St. Barth?&nbsp;
ACB: My advice to Jordana is to stay true to her purpose and not lose herself along the journey. Many times, the challenges we face only make us stronger and are necessary for the realization of our dreams. I would like to tell her that the impact of her pieces on me was profound and truly moved me.
