Models walked down the runway on a stage of multi patterned Louis Vuitton trunks wearing outfits that played with volume and structure. A series of jackets with large puffed sleeves and pinched waists were paired with tight biker shorts and leather flat sandals, emphasizing the running theme of structure and softness. Largely inspired by the renaissance, Ghesquière’s collection mixed patterns and lux textures, with tweeds, velvet and stripes throughout the collection. Modernized ruffled collars were styled with three quarter length joggers, cape-like coats tied at the neck and were paired with oversized chain accessories. Ghesquière’s final three looks tied the show together, with three layered looks that featured prints of paintings by the French artist Laurent Grasso from his series Studies into the Past.

Ghesquière seamlessly blended historical references with modern craftsmanship, delivering a collection that felt both grounded in the past and daringly futuristic.
