Chemena Kamali&rsquo;s newest collection for Chlo&eacute; is a summer dream.

Expanding motifs from her previous shows, using details like gold belts spelling out &ldquo;Chlo&eacute;&rdquo; and &ldquo;Paris&rdquo;, Kamali brought us a vintage inspired set of summer looks. Pieces were mostly sheer and billowing with intricate lace detailing and subtle floral appliques. Looks seemed to be inspired by both the 70s, true to the brand&rsquo;s core DNA, but also mixed with decidedly antique references. Pants tied in at the ankle to form pantaloons and babydoll dresses took cues from seemingly Victorian era influences. The result was a collection of light, billowing, and angelic pieces that came in variations of creme, cornfield blue, and dusty purple shades. There were high waisted bell bottoms in light shades of denim paired with big frame sunglasses and towering cork wedge heels. Floral swimsuits styled on models felt plucked straight off the beach, with flip-flops and big beachy carry-all bags completing the look. Tying together all these elements were gold seashell accessories that hung from necklaces, to belts, and even decorated shoes. This season Chlo&eacute;&rsquo;s runway looks delivered dreamy referential pieces, with the romantic and laid-back attitude we&rsquo;ve come to expect from the brand.
