A steady drum beat, the sounds of insects, and birds tweeting through tall grass set the scene at the Herm&egrave;s spring summer 2024 show.

Show notes for the collection read &ldquo; Sensual, contemporary silhouettes slip through tall grasses, accentuate the contours of the body, and are set in motion.&rdquo;&nbsp;
Looks were monochromatic ensembles in colors like bright vivid red, deep burgundy, olive green, and navy blue. The outfits that creative director Nad&egrave;ge Vanhee-Cybulski put out on the runway were both relaxed yet technical, the looks were everyday but clearly precise and clean.&nbsp; Models carried large leather totes overflowing with wild flowers and grass as they walked. Detailed leather work, what the brand is known for, was all over the collection. Leather jackets matched accompanying leather vests which matched strappy leather sandals. One standout was a leather midi skirt, belted at the waist and perforated to look like a geometric lace. Or a dress made from an elegant deep red check fabric, reminiscent of a picnic, which was mixed with perforated leather in geometric detailing. The collection was earthy and chic, and somehow fit for both a woman walking through the city and one strolling through endless reams of tall pampas grass. Herm&egrave;s&rsquo; collection was both idyllic and professional.
