A look at Louis Vuitton SS 2024

Dramatic layers and pattern clashing took over the runway at Louis Vuitton's latest womens collection.

Models walked down a bright orange runway in a room lined wall-to-wall in a matching orange plastic. Louis Vuitton worked with James Chinlund to stage this immersive setting, and create the feeling of being held within a glowing balloon.

On the runway Nicolas Ghesquière showed styles that mixed checkers, stripes, and houndstooth with glossy and flowing fabrics. Texture, pattern, and color mixed while the collection seemed to nod to several different decades. Voluminous leather bomber jackets and satin skirt and blazer sets had a distinct 80’s feel. Pieces were paired with long ruffled skirts and belted together with oversized low-slung belts that even called back to the 2000’s. Camera shaped bags, futuristic sunglasses, and ruffled heels were just some of the playful details accesorizing the runway. Ghesquière's newest collection was marked with skewed details and glossy drama.

Take a look at the collection here, and see some of our standouts below.
