Through her sculptural pieces, Seraphyn reinvents the codes of island design with elegance and emotion. Her universe conveys the lightness, sensuality and timeless grace of St Barth, muse and matrix of her inspiration.
L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Can you tell us about the birth of your brand? Seraphyn: My brand Seraphyn Design was born from memory: this art of living and the poetry of the tropics of the past. Inspired by this cultural heritage that cannot be forgotten, my founding idea was to reinterpret these codes with a contemporary vision. My goal is to express the pure sensations of the tropics through my creations: languid movement, the lightness of the atmosphere and the natural grace of places. I design each piece as a fragment of materialized emotion to be shared and passed on. My creative philosophy is fully expressed in emblematic pieces such as my rocking chair, my pedestal table and my gracile chair. The rocking chair (designed in carbon fiber) revisits a classic by combining strength, finesse and comfort. The pedestal table, made of bronze (an unalterable and eternal material) embodies the idea of a heritage treasure to be passed on. Its warm color and finish evoke the preciousness of a jewel, transforming a utilitarian object into a sculpture. As for the gracile chair, it expresses the quintessence of tropical lightness through its stripped-down structure. Celebrating the simplicity and sensuality of curves in the service of ergonomics, it is subtly inspired by the feminine silhouette. These three pieces represent the constant dialogue that I maintain between heritage and modernity.
L&rsquo;O: What place does St Barth occupy in your journey? S: St Barth is much more than an island to me; it is a land of the heart and my crucible of inspiration. In my eyes, it embodies a fertile paradox: a singular historical-cultural heritage and an openness to the world allied with bold modernity, where everything seems possible to me. This unique effervescence, nourished by the meeting of varied and cultivated horizons, offers the ideal ground for me to share my contemporary creations while remaining faithful to my Caribbean identity and to the history I share with its inhabitants.
L&rsquo;O: What place, landscape or atmosphere in St Barth inspires you the most? S: My inspiration draws its strength from the fusion between nature and the island&rsquo;s seascapes. These spaces that open onto the horizon are for me an invitation to escape. The crystalline blue of its waters and the singular light reflected there create, in my eyes, an atmosphere conducive to reverie, stimulating infinity for my creativity.
L&rsquo;O: If you had to sum up St Barth in a single word, which would you choose? S: Iconic.

L&rsquo;O: What projects or new developments are you preparing for 2026? S: My 2026 horizon is resolutely focused on sustainable innovation. My projects revolve around the use of bio-sourced materials, an approach that is part of my desire to enhance and sustain our precious island heritage, in perfect coherence with my vision of a creation that is passed on.
L&rsquo;O: What would you like the public to retain above all from your work? S: I would like the public to perceive in my work the quest for a grounded and authentic design that goes beyond form. My objective is to express the sensations and values of tropical places, movement, lightness and femininity, through a resolutely modern language, thus contributing to the expression of a contemporary and emotional style, inspired by my territory.
L&rsquo;O: What advice would you give to a young creator who dreams of settling or creating in St Barth? S: Draw your inspiration from the deep identity and history of the place but also from the cultural mix it attracts from all over the world. It is by connecting to this unique essence, to its sensations, that you will be able to develop an original, authentic and personal creation.

L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Can you tell us about the birth of your brand? Jordana Gheler: The brand was born from my personal story, intimately linked to my passion for St Barth. My mother was an artist, and every time she finished a project, we would celebrate together by choosing a piece of jewelry, carefully selecting the stone and the design. Ten years ago, she passed away, leaving me part of her collection. Last year, I decided to redesign these pieces so that they would reflect my style more. When I wore them in St Barth, many people asked me where they came from. That&rsquo;s when the idea of creating my own brand took shape. But I wanted something different from what already existed here &mdash; a brand that, through its stones and lines, carries a deep connection with the island. That&rsquo;s how it all began. Each piece tells a story: by wearing one, you take a fragment of the island with you.
L&rsquo;O: What place does St Barth hold in your journey? JG: St Barth represents a true transformation in my life. I discovered the island in 2011, and as soon as I set foot on it, I knew it would become my home. I traded city life for this little paradise. Even after all these years, every corner continues to inspire me. Its nature feeds my creativity, sparks ideas, and guides the stories behind each piece of jewelry. St Barth is not only where I live, it is an infinite source of inspiration.
L&rsquo;O: Which place, landscape, or atmosphere on the island inspires you the most? JG: What inspires me the most is the movement of the island, the way its atmosphere transforms over the months. Each period brings new sensations, almost like emotional seasons. Visually, I am fascinated by the infinity of its turquoise blues and its unique contrasts: the texture of the vegetation, the iconic red roofs, or the elegant curve of airplanes landing on the horizon. All these details feed my imagination and naturally find their way into my creations.

L&rsquo;O: If you had to sum up St Barth in one word, which would you choose? JG: St Barth is a jewel. That is my brand&rsquo;s slogan, but also the most accurate expression of what the island represents for me, in every sense of the word.
L&rsquo;O: What projects or new releases are you preparing for 2026? JG: I am continuing a beautiful collaboration with Eden Rock, where the brand is represented. This place perfectly embodies the spirit of my house: St Barth is a jewel, and Eden Rock is its precious stone. We are constantly imagining new ideas together. In 2026, we will unveil a men&rsquo;s collection, as well as a new line called Pirates of St. Barth.
L&rsquo;O: What would you like the public to remember above all about your work? JG: People often feel an inexplicable passion for the island, an almost magical emotion. My wish is that my jewelry becomes small fragments of St Barth that travel around the world, carrying the spirit and beauty of the island with them.
L&rsquo;O: What advice would you give to a young creator who dreams of settling or creating in St Barth? JG: The real key is a sincere connection with the island. You have to absorb its rhythm, its energy, its light, and know how to appreciate everything it offers without ever disturbing its balance. When you resonate with St Barth on that level, everything else naturally falls into place.

Whether it&rsquo;s her hand-crocheted beach bags or fluid silk silhouettes, Alexandra Tursi has built a brand where the hallmarks are shaped entirely by the light and spirit of St Barth. Her universe is luminous, sensual, and instinctive &mdash; a wardrobe born from sun, salt, and the slow rhythm of island life.

L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Can you tell us about the birth of your brand? Alexandra Tursi: I&rsquo;ve been making clothes for as long as I can remember, experimenting with different styles, techniques, and combinations. Seven years ago, I came to St Barth, and like many fashion-loving girls, I made myself a crochet bag. Someone saw it and said, &ldquo;I want one.&rdquo; That&rsquo;s how it all began. What started with me handcrafting hundreds of crochet bags has evolved into an exploration of elegant silk garments under my own brand, Alexandra Tursi. I wanted to create things that women can wear effortlessly from day to night.
L&rsquo;O: What place does St Barth hold in your journey? AT: St Barth created my brand, and in many ways, my brand has created me. For such a small island, it holds an immense and unique energy. Maybe it&rsquo;s the views, but I began to see things differently here: the colors, the textures, the touch of sand, water, wind, and shells. Everything became more vibrant and alive. There&rsquo;s that feeling when you lift your face to the sun, close your eyes, and the warmth covers you slowly like melting honey. That&rsquo;s the sensation I try to capture in my creations &mdash; something effortless and luminous, but also sensual. St Barth taught me the beauty of simplicity, movement, and natural luxury. Those are the values that now define Alexandra Tursi.
L&rsquo;O: Which place, landscape, or atmosphere of St Barth inspires you the most? AT: Every corner of St Barth inspires me. The view from Colombier, overlooking Gustavia and Public, takes my breath away each time. I remember sitting at Villa Mona (named after my mother-in-law) for hours, simply watching in silence. And the sea&hellip; I love it when it turns glassy and still; it&rsquo;s like liquid silk. I&rsquo;m mesmerized by its quiet movement, its reflections and shadows. It&rsquo;s the same feeling I find in fabric &mdash; fluid, elegant, endlessly graceful. It&rsquo;s a dance you can lose yourself in.
L&rsquo;O: If you had to summarize St Barth in one word, which would you choose? AT: Luminescence. Because everything here &mdash; from the sea to the light to the women who wear my designs &mdash; glows with that special effortlessness, that beauty and warmth.

L&rsquo;O: What projects or new developments are you preparing for 2026? AT: For 2026, I&rsquo;m developing a capsule collection that celebrates the fluidity of silk and the natural rhythms of St Barth. Each piece is designed to move like water and capture the light like the sunrise over the sea. The collection will also feature hand-painted silks &mdash; one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the island&rsquo;s landscapes and colors. I&rsquo;m also deepening my commitment to sustainability through ethically sourced materials and artisanal dyeing techniques inspired by St Barth&rsquo;s beauty.
L&rsquo;O: What would you most like the public to remember about your work? AT: That each piece carries an emotion in it. There&rsquo;s a combination of serenity, sensuality, and a touch of that special island freedom. I want women to feel both powerful and at ease, as if they&rsquo;re carried by the sea breeze from St Barth itself.
L&rsquo;O: What advice would you give to a young creator who dreams of settling or creating in St Barth? This is a beautiful space to translate your experiences into creative expressions &mdash; and remember that whatever you make, you are leaving inspiration for whoever comes after you.

There are some brands that make pieces, and others that create emotions. CED &amp; ROD belongs to the latter &mdash; a house whose universe is felt even before it is understood: born between the rigor of Italian couture and the raw soul of St Barth. In their atelier, C&eacute;dric and Rodolf shape garments the way one shapes memories, with rare sensitivity and an almost instinctive attention to detail. Their luxury is silent, intimate, and deeply human. A meeting with a duo for whom each garment is a work of art, a memory, and an emotion to wear.
L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Can you tell us the story behind the birth of your brand? CED &amp; ROD: The brand was born from the encounter between two worlds: that of the most demanding Italian couture and that of an island life in St Barth, where luxury is experienced in an authentic, almost confidential way. We wanted to offer not clothes, but experiences. Each piece is conceived as a personal work of art, nourished by rarity, sincerity, and craftsmanship pushed to the extreme. Our goal is to create pieces that transcend seasons, and go far beyond trends.
L&rsquo;O: What place does St Barth hold in your journey? C&amp;R: The island is much more than a backdrop to our work: it is a home port. St Barth is a place where we have built an intimate connection with both the local community and an exceptional international clientele. We create wedding dresses here, sometimes for local families, which leads us to experience moments of great intensity. When we are invited to our clients&rsquo; weddings, sharing these moments&hellip; that is exactly what CED &amp; ROD represents: accompanying women through the most precious moments of their lives.
L&rsquo;O: Which place or landscape on the island inspires you the most? C&amp;R: Saline, we can say this without hesitation. The path, the dunes, the rocks, the silence, then the endless horizon. It&rsquo;s a raw, free, untouched landscape. This wild atmosphere inspires us directly: strength, simplicity, silent elegance. That is exactly what we seek to translate into our pieces.
L&rsquo;O: If you had to sum up St Barth in one word? C&amp;R: Intensity. A simple but powerful word, capturing the island&rsquo;s energy, light, and emotion.

L&rsquo;O: What projects or new developments are you preparing for 2026? C&amp;R: 2026 will clearly be a year under the sign of exclusivity. CED &amp; ROD will create a unique capsule collection for the women&rsquo;s boutique at Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France, an emblematic address of the LVMH group. We will also propose a few pieces for men, notably silk and linen shirts. At the same time, we&rsquo;ll continue our work on highly confidential collections, produced in extremely limited quantities, in order to preserve what we consider a true privilege: rarity.
L&rsquo;O: What would you like the public to remember above all about your work? C&amp;R: Absolute quality and rarity &mdash; those are the key things for us. We conceive of every detail in our workshops: pattern design, model development, even the choice of materials. We only collaborate with the finest suppliers: silks from Lake Como, English tweeds from the same historic mills as those of Chanel, and even fabrics specially created for us. Our signature includes exclusive prints, born from photographs that we transformed into textile artworks. We want our clients to be certain that no one else is wearing the same piece.
L&rsquo;O: What advice would you give to a young designer dreaming of settling or creating in St Barth? C&amp;R: Don&rsquo;t try to please everyone. The island is not a stage for the masses, but a jewel case where authenticity is key. Listen to the light, the contrasts, the energy of St Barth. Stay true to yourself. Here, sincerity is seen instantly. This is not a place for compromise: it is a place where you reveal who you truly are.

CHILD OF THE SEA
When the Ocean Becomes Jewelry Cheyenne Mignot speaks with the candor of someone who never follows the rules. It&rsquo;s this spirit that shaped Child of the Sea.

Cheyenne Mignot grew up on a sailboat with his parents and his brother, Ocean Sky. Eleven years spent sailing between the Caribbean and South America, each stopover was an adventure. Each island a treasure: &ldquo;Growing up on the sea was living like a pirate,&rdquo; he recalls. He tamed a parrot named Coco. He sold photographs to tourists. He caught and resold iguanas. He explored beaches, collected shells and pieces of sea-polished glass. Each day taught him resourcefulness, boldness, and freedom.
At seven, his grandmother taught him how to roll leather to make jewelry cords. At fifteen, he had mastered cutting, polishing, and drilling shells, stones, and pearls. At sixteen, he created his first pieces for the family shop, Bijoux de la Mer, in St Barth. &ldquo;My first piece was a necklace made from a shell I found on the beach. I wanted to keep it as a memory, so I drilled into it and turned it into jewelry.&rdquo;
At twenty-two, his grandfather passed down the foundations of metalworking: melting gold, silver, copper, and bronze to craft unique pieces. After the passing of his father and grandfather, Cheyenne founded Child of the Sea and set up his atelier in St Barth.
His creative process always begins with a find. A shell. A stone. A piece of sea-polished glass. He sketches around this element. He lets it guide the design. The materials speak, and he transforms them by hand. Each piece is born from meticulous attention, from patience passed down through his family, and enriched by the techniques of artisans he has met throughout his travels.

Cheyenne searches for his precious stones across the globe. He travels through Southeast Asia, South America, and the Pacific to source his gems. Everywhere he goes, he meets local artisans and miners. He observes their gestures, learns their techniques, and chooses every stone with care. The landscapes, the light, the warmth of the workshops, and the hands shaping these stones fuel his creativity. All the gold and precious metals he uses come from ethical sources. Each journey shapes his inspiration and becomes part of his creations. &ldquo;Every piece tells a story &mdash; a connection between people, nature, and craftsmanship.&rdquo;
St Barth remains his anchor, his refuge. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a place where, like the pirates once did, you hide from the world and its rules.&rdquo; Each jewel mirrors the sea, the light, the colors, and the island&rsquo;s energy. The trident, the brand&rsquo;s emblematic piece, symbolizes Cheyenne&rsquo;s strength and bond with the ocean.
La Grande Famille is an ongoing project led by his cousins Jessica and Lucas, in which Cheyenne plays an active role. Located in the heart of Gustavia, the boutique brings together family members around their art and shared heritage. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a space where the family can gather, exhibit their work, and share their creativity. The boutique is a testament to our story and our values &mdash; it&rsquo;s more than a shop, it&rsquo;s a home for our artistic expression.&rdquo;
In this space, Cheyenne presents his Child of the Sea creations alongside those of his relatives. Each brings their skill, their story, and their love for art. &ldquo;Child of the Sea was born from my personal history as a tribute to my grandparents who created Bijoux de la Mer, and La Grande Famille now turns it into a shared story.&rdquo;

Instinct of Style When Mollie Mae talks about her boutique &mdash; every piece in her store, every choice, every moment of magic &mdash; you know she was led by desire and instinct.

&ldquo;It fell into my arms, as if it had always been obvious.&rdquo; When Mollie Mae talks about her boutique, you feel that nothing was calculated. No business plan, no strategy. Just desire, instinct and hard work.
Born in the United Kingdom, she left her country at the age of six for France. She learned the language &ldquo;in the countryside, the hard way,&rdquo; as she says, far from the luxury she is surrounded by today. School? A failure. But with Mollie, failure has always been an open door. &ldquo;I failed at school, so I decided to travel.&rdquo; Off to Asia, then the Pacific. She strung adventures together, without a roadmap. Back in France, she became a weather engineer in Toulouse. &ldquo;But I knew I wasn&rsquo;t in my place.&rdquo; So, in 2021, she dropped everything and headed for St Barth. &ldquo;I had always imagined living on an island. The luxury on such a small territory fascinated me.&rdquo; Here, everything aligned: love, friends, light. The island became her refuge. And that&rsquo;s where everything began.
&ldquo;I have always been drawn to beauty, fashion, offbeat things.&rdquo; As a child, she dressed her dolls. Then came makeup, art, and finally vintage fashion. Opening a boutique here, without school or a network, was almost audacious. &ldquo;A girl like me, opening a vintage shop in St Barth &mdash; who was going to be interested?&rdquo; She laughs. Supported by her partner Kristian and her mother-in-law Laurie Stark, she went for it. She hunts, rummages, cleans, alters. &ldquo;Everything came naturally. I knew exactly what I wanted.&rdquo; In her boutique, nothing is left to chance: everything is chosen, washed, styled, and staged by her alone. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a one-woman show. All my energy goes into it.&rdquo;

Between the racks, you&rsquo;ll find an early-20th-century lace dress, a &rsquo;90s Harley jacket, a Fendi baguette bag. But what Mollie really sells is an emotion. &ldquo;You have to follow your intuition. If you hesitate, you miss out.&rdquo; She doesn&rsquo;t try to please: she wants each piece to speak to someone. For her, fashion is not a game of appearances but a way of existing. &ldquo;The island inspires me all the time. The calm of the low season, the energy of the high season &mdash; everything comes in waves.&rdquo; What else does she love about it? Reunions. &ldquo;I love running into my clients afterwards, seeing them smile, dance, feeling good in their skin. There&rsquo;s nothing more beautiful.&rdquo;
For now, Mollie Mae is taking each day as it comes. The future? &ldquo;Maybe a boutique in Los Angeles or online? I&rsquo;m curious to see what life has in store for me.&rdquo; One thing is certain: on this island she now calls home, Mollie has found much more than a job. She has found a way of existing that&rsquo;s sincere, instinctive, and free &mdash; a life of her own making.

From modeling for Guy Bourdin to becoming a perfumer, Jacques Zolty has journeyed through some of fashion&rsquo;s most iconic chapters before settling in Saint Barth. Here, between white sand and Caribbean light, he has found the inspiration to create his own essences and build a timeless brand. A meeting with a man who transformed curiosity and passion into lasting elegance.
L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: In your book Carnet Intime de St Barth, we learn that you modeled for the greatest fashion photographers such as Guy Bourdin, Peter Lindbergh, and Patrick Demarchelier. What did you take away from that time? Jacques Zolty: Ah, what a great question! At first, I saw it as a long vacation; I never took the job seriously. I did it for fun and, I admit, to immerse myself in the fascinating world of fashion. Then I began observing and learning: how they played with light and character, how they told stories through their images. I met countless incredible people, celebrities. When you&rsquo;re among the ten top models in the world, every door opens for you.
L&rsquo;O: Can you tell us what life in St Barth was like in the 1980s? JZ: A delight! When I arrived, there wasn&rsquo;t even passport control, and I came without telling anyone. In the late afternoon, the whole island gathered at Le Select. It felt like a film: Vietnam veterans, artists, bearded guys involved in a bit of smuggling &mdash; everyone was there, and the joy was immense. No phones, just two booths on the dock. No sense of time; few really worked. The real luxury? Arriving and walking barefoot, mingling with people, sharing a simple meal: chicken, ribs, and rice in a small shack. Bob Dylan was there &mdash; everyone mixed together and had so much fun.

L&rsquo;O: How did the idea of creating your first perfume come about? JZ: I was tired of buying other people&rsquo;s perfumes, so I decided to create my own. My perfume wasn&rsquo;t mixed with alcohol: one drop and it enveloped you. It all started in my cabin, like a small craftsman. One evening over dinner with major fashion figures &mdash; Fabien Baron, Patrick Demarchelier, Christian Liaigre &mdash; they encouraged me to commercialize it. Fabien Baron designed the bottle, Demarchelier shot the photo, and I found a factory capable of producing my ideas. My encounter with Colette and her daughter Sarah was decisive: they took the perfume in exclusivity.
L&rsquo;O: Usually, a fashion brand launches its clothing first, then its fragrance. You did the opposite. Why? JZ: Yes, exactly. The clothing came afterward, to accessorize the perfume. I wanted timeless pieces inspired by my white shirts &mdash; simple and elegant, in cotton, twill, or linen. Always comfortable, relaxed, but with high-quality fabrics. My approach has always been to blend simplicity and excellence.

In Saint Barth, Val&eacute;rie Bourdin found her calling. After Dolce &amp; Gabbana, she transformed a stole into an iconic piece and gave birth to Vanita Rosa, a radiant, bohemian-chic brand. Each creation captures the spirit of the island &mdash; its light and femininity &mdash; with couture craftsmanship that blends elegance and freedom.
L&rsquo;OFFICIEL: Could you tell us about the birth of your brand? Val&eacute;rie Bourdin: After six years at Dolce &amp; Gabbana, I arrived on the island in 2002 for a sabbatical year. Fifteen days later, I had already signed a boutique in Gustavia! The desire to create a luxury vintage concept store and to craft my first unique handmade pieces had become obvious. It all started with a linen stole that I transformed into an asymmetrical top. The interest shown by the boutique&rsquo;s clients encouraged me to continue and develop a collection. That&rsquo;s how Vanita Rosa was born &mdash; from the marriage between couture and the freedom that Saint Barth offered me.
L&rsquo;O: What place does Saint Barth hold in your journey? VB: Saint Barth was a catalyst for Vanita Rosa. The feeling of freedom, well-being, and safety inspired me to settle here and create a bohemian-chic collection true to the island&rsquo;s spirit. A celebrity clientele including Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell contributed to the brand&rsquo;s worldwide visibility. The island is much more than a backdrop: it is a catalyst for ideas and creativity, a place where every detail counts and inspires.
L&rsquo;O: Which place, landscape, or atmosphere on the island inspires you the most? VB: Saint Barth is an endless source of inspiration: beaches, landscapes, villas, residents, and tourists&hellip; Everything constantly inspires me. My favorite spot is the Caf&eacute; de l&rsquo;Oubli in Gustavia. That&rsquo;s where I take in the mood of the moment, where I watch the island live, and where inspiration comes naturally. Seeing emblematic residents and visitors pass by &mdash; it&rsquo;s a moment when the island becomes both studio and muse.

L&rsquo;O: If you had to summarize Saint Barth in one word? VB: Essential. It&rsquo;s too reductive to sum up the island in one word, but that&rsquo;s the one that comes to mind: the essential of life, the essential of oneself, the essential of creation.
L&rsquo;O: What projects or new developments are you preparing for 2026? VB: Each new season is a new project. We have only one collection per year, which we prepare for more than six months with the ambition to surprise our loyal clients. Our website, vanitarosa.com, has been redesigned and now attracts more than 10,000 subscribers who can receive our pieces anywhere in the world. The brand continues to grow while staying true to its style: radiant, bohemian, and couture.
L&rsquo;O: What would you most like the public to remember about your work? VB: I want people to remember the rigor and care applied for 25 years. We keep all production in Paris, in my ateliers where seven people work made-to-measure with haute couture know-how. Materials are chosen carefully: Italian silk, Calais lace, linen&hellip; Every piece is checked and approved by me before leaving the atelier. This demanding production is not the easiest path, but it guarantees the authenticity, quality, and soul of Vanita Rosa.
L&rsquo;O: What advice would you give a young designer dreaming of settling or creating in Saint Barth? VB: First, find housing&hellip; nearly impossible today! Tourists buy here above all to wear in St Barth. The line must reflect the island&rsquo;s essence: bohemian, chic, and authentic. The first time I arrived on the island with suitcases bursting at the seams, I wore nothing that was inside them! I discovered so many small local boutiques with that &ldquo;Saint-Barth style&rdquo; that I wore only that. My advice: stay true to your intuition, understand the island, and create with passion and patience.

There are islands you visit, and others that choose you. For Claire Boudre, St Barth was a calling, almost a certainty. From this encounter was born Monbarth: a brand guided by light, simplicity, and freedom. More than a style, a feeling. It&rsquo;s a way of living within the island and carrying it with you wherever you go.

L&rsquo;Officiel: Could you tell us about the birth of your brand?
Claire Boudre: Monbarth was born from a meeting &mdash; between an island and a heart. I discovered St Barth over eighteen years ago and I immediately knew it was home. It was a revelation. I was finally in my place &mdash; free, aligned, radiant. It all started with a cap. A sincere desire to create something that people here would want to wear. An everyday piece, a connection. Then the idea grew, nourished by my love for the island, until it became a lifestyle. Monbarth is many things to me, an emotion, a way of sharing, a way to make St Barth travel around the world. It&rsquo;s a story that I built with my heart.

L&rsquo;O: What place does St Barth hold in your journey?
CB:The island gave me a horizon to explore. It taught me simplicity, freedom, and the intensity of the present moment. I couldn&rsquo;t live anywhere else, especially since the birth of my son Aaron, and everything he teaches me every day. Here, I feel fully myself. Creating from St Barth means telling a true story: that of a wild yet refined island, intimate and universal. It still inspires me every day and reminds me why I chose this life.

L&rsquo;O: Which place, landscape, or atmosphere on the island inspires you most?
CB: Sunsets. They are my ritual. I love it when the sun abandons itself into the sea, everything becomes simple and essential. No two sunsets are ever the same, and I love that promise: each day can be a new beginning. That&rsquo;s the energy I pursue in my creations: a raw, simple emotion that stays true.

L&rsquo;O: If you had to sum up St Barth in one word?
CB: Freedom. The possibility of a chosen life. The freedom to love, to move forward, to start again.

L&rsquo;O: What projects or new developments are you preparing for 2026?
CB: 2026 will be a new step, even more committed and personal. I want to evolve the brand while staying faithful to its essence: creating pieces with a soul. There will be limited editions, conceived as emotional objects, almost collectibles. And I want to take Monbarth further, beyond the island, without losing its heart. Our e-shop is coming very soon &mdash; and this is only the beginning.

CB: Authenticity. I want Monbarth to be a cocoon, a place where you feel like yourself. Like an old sweatshirt you love &mdash; the one that&rsquo;s already lived with you and that you never want to take off. That&rsquo;s Monbarth: a simple, true brand, that feels like life. It comes from an honest passion and it goes straight into the heart of the people who wear it.

CB: Follow your intuition. Nothing is too big or too far when you put your heart into what you build. Move forward with patience, respect, and intention. And above all, never forget why you started doing what you love. The projects that last are the ones that have a soul.&nbsp;
