Zimmermann unveils its new Trailblazer collection now in store, inspired by the bold and independent Australian women of the 1920s and reinterpreted through a refined balance of structure, movement, and modern femininity.

The new Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Trailblazer collection by Zimmermann is now in store, drawing on the audacious spirit of Australian women of the 1920s&mdash;bold, independent, and full of joy&mdash;whose sense of freedom and determination redefined what was possible and continues to resonate throughout the season.
The collection explores a subtle balance between structure and fluidity. Utility-driven silhouettes such as jumpsuits and tailored suiting introduce a pragmatic, almost androgynous attitude, while softer elements appear through silk dresses and lingerie-inspired pieces. This contrast creates a natural dialogue between masculine and feminine codes, handled with precision and restraint.
Layering plays a central role, both visually and functionally. Rich textures including shearling, velvet, and silk add depth, allowing pieces to shift seamlessly across occasions. Printed silk scarves with aviation and sporting references are reworked into skirts and dresses, while nods to cricket uniforms and workwear are refined through clean tailoring and elevated materials.
Movement remains essential. Garments are designed to follow the body, with silhouettes that open, sway, and adapt in motion. Lace-paneled dresses, leather ensembles, and softly structured denim contribute to a wardrobe that feels both considered and effortless. Tailoring is sharp but never rigid, often softened by lace details or intimate layers revealed as part of the look.
Art Deco references appear throughout in a controlled, graphic way, visible in geometric cut-outs, hand-drawn prints, and the fluid construction of velvet and silk pieces. Accessories extend this narrative, from the reimagined Cloud 91 bags in patchwork python to embroidered velvet mules and jewellery featuring bird motifs, each element reinforcing the collection&rsquo;s sense of individuality.
Shown in Paris to a front row that included Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, and Ego Nwodim, the collection affirmed Zimmermann&rsquo;s ability to merge heritage references with a contemporary, confident silhouette.
On April 2, Zimmermann St Barth will host an intimate evening around the collection, offering a private shopping experience with a philanthropic dimension, as a portion of proceeds will support Le C&oelig;ur de St Barth.
