From launching her own swimwear line, Sasha&rsquo;s Bikinis, to staying closely involved in projects that honor her father&rsquo;s legacy, Sasha shares how intuition and authenticity continue to guide her every step of the way.

Sasha Nikolic grew up surrounded by creativity, with a fashion designer mother, a musician father, and the island of St Barth as her backdrop. Now, she&rsquo;s finding her own path through fashion, music, and self-expression.
L'OFFICIEL: Tell us a bit about yourself &mdash; how would you describe your style, and what are you most passionate about in life?
SASHA NIKOLIC: I&rsquo;m someone who&rsquo;s very authentic &mdash; I value honesty, staying true to myself, and I have a strong intuition that guides me in everything I do. I can&rsquo;t stand anything fake, whether it&rsquo;s in people, energy, or expression.
When it comes to style, I really dress based on how I feel. I can go from super chic to oversized streetwear to something sexy &mdash; it all depends on my mood. But no matter the look, there&rsquo;s always meaning behind what I wear. My outfits are a reflection of my emotions and energy.
I&rsquo;m passionate about creating, expressing myself, and especially about music. Music has always been a big part of my life &mdash; it inspires me, grounds me, and fuels my creativity. For me, fashion and music go hand in hand &mdash; both are powerful ways to tell a story and connect with others.
L'O:&nbsp;Your mother is the designer behind Vanita Rosa. What was it like growing up in a fashion-focused household?
SN: Growing up with my mother, Val&eacute;rie, was like living in a world of creativity and beauty. From a very young age, I was completely immersed in fashion &mdash; I used to draw little sketches of dresses, and she would actually bring them to life and make them for me. It felt magical. Watching her work so passionately and fearlessly taught me the value of creativity, independence, and attention to detail. Fashion was never just about clothes &mdash; it was about expression, emotion, and storytelling. That environment shaped who I am today.
L'O: You recently launched your own brand. What made you feel it was the right time to create your own fashion line?
SN: I started my brand, Sasha&rsquo;s Bikinis, when I was just 16. I could never find a bikini that fit perfectly &mdash; something that was both flattering and stylish, yet simple. I thought, &ldquo;Why not create my own?&rdquo; It felt like the right moment because I had a clear vision and a strong desire to bring something personal and unique into the swimwear space.
L'O: What inspired Sasha&rsquo;s Bikinis, and how involved are you in the design process?
SN: The brand was born out of my own search for the perfect bikini. I wanted something that made people feel beautiful, confident, and free. I&rsquo;m deeply involved in every step of the design process &mdash; from selecting fabrics to final cuts. Each piece reflects my vision of summer, femininity, and freedom.
L'O: With your roots in both music and fashion, how would you describe your personal aesthetic &mdash; and how does it influence the content you share?
SN: I would describe my aesthetic as authentic, confident, and always evolving. I&rsquo;m inspired by many artists &mdash; especially Rihanna &mdash; for her originality and fearless self-expression. I&rsquo;ve always been deeply passionate about music. I listen to all kinds of genres &mdash; it depends on my mood, and it constantly fuels my creativity. Music is such a gift; being passionate about it adds emotion and depth to everything I do. I don&rsquo;t follow trends &mdash; I create based on feeling. For me, being real and humble is essential, and that&rsquo;s exactly what I try to reflect in the content I share

L'O: Who are some of your favorite fashion designers, past or present?
SN: I really admire designers who create emotion and a strong identity through their work. Demna is one of my favorites &mdash; he&rsquo;s bold, unapologetic, and always pushes boundaries in such a powerful way. Hedi Slimane is another huge inspiration; his vision is raw, elegant, and always captures the spirit of youth.
I&rsquo;m also obsessed with vintage Dolce &amp; Gabbana &mdash; the sexiness, the structure, and the confidence their pieces give to a woman. There&rsquo;s something powerful and empowering about wearing something that celebrates femininity so unapologetically.
And of course, my mother has been one of my biggest inspirations. She&rsquo;s a beautiful woman with an incredible sense of style and vision. Her use of color, lace, and flow reflects a deep understanding of what it means to feel beautiful as a woman. She always told me: &ldquo;When you design something, imagine yourself wearing it.&rdquo; That advice stays with me every time I create.
L'O: Where do you see your modeling and influencer journey evolving in the coming years?
SN:&nbsp;In the next few years, I hope to continue growing and evolving through everything I&rsquo;m passionate about. It would be a dream to work with some of the brands I&rsquo;ve always admired &mdash; to collaborate creatively and be part of projects that truly inspire me. I also want to keep developing my own brand, Sasha&rsquo;s Bikinis, and expand even more in the fashion world. Most importantly, I want to keep listening to my intuition &mdash; it&rsquo;s what has guided me from the beginning, and I truly believe it always leads me in the right direction. My goal is to stay true to myself, keep creating, and continue moving forward with passion and purpose.

L'O: Tell us about Saint Barth &mdash; your favorite memories, go-to spots, and how the island inspires your creativity.
SN: I grew up in Saint Barth, so the island is truly part of who I am. I have so many beautiful memories there &mdash; moments with my family, my friends, and with the island itself. My father loved Saint Barth deeply and I feel especially connected to him when I&rsquo;m there. The island inspires me every time &mdash; through its colors, its light, its nature, and its calm. I feel so peaceful in Saint Barth, and that peace really fuels my creativity. It&rsquo;s the perfect place to dream, to create, and to reconnect with yourself.
My favorite lunch spots are either Shellona, where I always crave their tuna tacos, or Grain de Sel, where I love their Creole-style spiced fresh fish &mdash; it&rsquo;s full of flavor and comfort. As for beaches, Gouverneur and Flamands are my favorites. There&rsquo;s something about Flamands &mdash; an energy that&rsquo;s hard to explain, but you feel it the moment you arrive. Saint Barth is more than just a place to me &mdash; it&rsquo;s a feeling, and it continues to inspire everything I do.

L'O: Your father had a strong presence in the music world. How has his memory shaped your creative and entrepreneurial spirit?
SN: My father taught me so much &mdash; he showed me the importance of staying humble, respecting others, and being truly passionate in everything you do. Whether it&rsquo;s the way you speak, how you treat people, or how you express yourself, he believed it should always come from the heart. His energy continues to inspire me. He had something so powerful in him &mdash; a fire that made him vibrate with life. He was generous, humble, and full of emotion. He did everything with heart, and that&rsquo;s something I hold onto and try to carry with me in everything I create and pursue.&nbsp;
He also always told me to believe in my luck &mdash; to trust in my opportunities and in the magic of seizing them. Combined with his story &mdash; growing up in Serbia and achieving everything he did &mdash; that advice reminds me that with passion, drive, and faith, you can overcome anything. He guides me every day, and his legacy lives on in everything I do.
L'O: You&rsquo;ve spoken openly about grief. How has that experience influenced your resilience?
SN: It&rsquo;s shown me how important it is to truly enjoy every moment with the people you love, because nothing is ever guaranteed. It&rsquo;s made me stronger, more grounded, and more grateful for the present. Through everything, my mother, my sister, and I have become incredibly close &mdash; we&rsquo;re very united. That bond gives me strength every day. It reminds me that even in pain, there is love, and in love, there is resilience.

L'O: There are current projects &mdash; including a documentary or TV film by TF1 &mdash; about your father&rsquo;s life. Have you and your mother been involved in sharing his story? Have you seen the film?
SN: Yes, there&rsquo;s a show about the story of 2Be3 coming out in October on Amazon Prime, which I&rsquo;m really excited about. There&rsquo;s also a film based on the book my mother wrote, &ldquo;Filip pour la vie,&rdquo; which tells the incredible love story between her and my father, and shares who he truly was. After that, a documentary about my father&rsquo;s life will also be released. I&rsquo;m very involved in all of these projects &mdash; it&rsquo;s really important for me to be part of telling his story the right way, with love and truth. I&rsquo;m so happy to see that people are still inspired by him, and that they remember the light he was. It means the world to me.
L'O: Your father helped your mother open her first store in St Barth. Does St Barth hold a special memory in your heart?
SN: Yes, absolutely. That store holds so much meaning for me. My father wasn&rsquo;t just supporting my mother &mdash; he was truly involved. He did&nbsp; the painting and worked on the interior himself. That&rsquo;s the kind of man he was &mdash; humble, generous, and always present for the people he loved. Because of that, the boutique is more than just a store &mdash; it&rsquo;s a symbol of our family, of love, of teamwork. And of course, Saint Barth is home for me. Every part of the island holds a memory, and I feel my father&rsquo;s presence there in such a deep and peaceful way.
L'O: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now &mdash; professionally and personally?
SN: First, I want to fully expand my passions and use them to their fullest potential. I already have a strong vision of where I want to go, and my goal is to bring that to life &mdash; step by step. I&rsquo;d love to collaborate with the artists and brands I admire, and keep building something meaningful and creative. But more than anything, I hope to be healthy, happy, and surrounded by my family. Living with purpose, doing what I love, and sharing it with the people I care about &mdash; that&rsquo;s what success looks like to me.
