KATHIA JOSEPH: Our concept revolves around offering guests an immersive experience where they not only indulge in exquisite flavors but also delve into the rich tapestry of Coastal Mexican cuisine. Our ambition is to transport diners to the coastal regions of Yucat&aacute;n through our dishes, while also pushing the boundaries of innovation in culinary exploration in a bohemian vibe.

KJ:&nbsp;We meticulously curated a menu that harmonizes the vibrant and bold flavors of Mexican cuisine with the subtle sophistication of Caribbean culinary techniques. L'O: Your d&eacute;cor celebrates life, heritage and travel. How is your cultural heritage expressed at Casa Matilda?
KJ: At Casa Matilda, our cultural heritage is intricately woven into every aspect of the restaurant, from the d&eacute;cor to the menu. As someone with French and Haitian (Caribbean) roots living in the United States, I sought to create a space that reflects the diverse tapestry of my own background.
