Presenting "Go Where The Wind Takes You" for its second year in a row in Miami, D'Puglia's Art Basel week initiative provided a journey of art, heritage, and regeneration across Miami's most coveted cultural destinations.

D&rsquo;Puglia returned to Art Basel Miami Beach Week 2025 for a second presentation of &ldquo;Go Where The Wind Takes You.&rdquo; &nbsp;A welcome Italian Mediterranean breeze amid the whirlwind rush of the week. &nbsp;The non-profit&rsquo;s initiative was a journey of art, heritage and regeneration, infusing the Southern Italian spirit, soul and substance across the city, and transforming some of its most coveted venues into ports of Mediterranean magic.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The multi-day agenda taking place at three locations - The Standard Hotel &amp; Spa, Miami Beach; AKA Hotel Brickell, and LPM Miami - celebrated the organization&rsquo;s ethos. "Go where the wind takes you" (Va' dove ti porta il vento in Italian) is a common saying in the Italian region of Puglia that advises surrendering to the elements and embracing a sense of adventure, connection, and presence with nature.&nbsp;

Founded by Gordana Zgonjanin, D'Puglia is a cultural initiative rooted in the heritage of Southern Italy, using art, design, and ecology to inspire regeneration and connection. Through artist residencies, public installations, and global partnerships, D'Puglia cultivates new ways of seeing, sensing, and shaping our shared world. It&rsquo;s five pillars - Public Installations, Preservation, Philanthropy, Artist Residency, and the Traveling Table&mdash;create a living dialogue between tradition and innovation, heritage and future.

In collaboration with DSCENE Magazine and L'Officiel St. Barth, D&rsquo;Puglia&rsquo;s multi-day immersive program utilized wind as both symbol and catalyst, carrying stories of art, design, ecology, and heritage across borders. Like the Grecale wind that travels from east to west, the program connects communities, landscapes, and collective memory through a series of exclusive activations.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The week kicked off with a garden party at The Standard Hotel &amp; Spa, Miami to unveil Puglia | UNFRAMED, an artist-led publication featuring a foreword by Gordana Zgonjanin and Helen Mirren for Save The Olives, alongside installations by international artists including Coco Brun &ldquo;Terra Aura&rdquo;Olfactory Installation, Loug&egrave; &ldquo;Self Preservation&rdquo;, and Marcantonio's "Natural Connection" sculpture in collaboration with TABU and Casa Tabu.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The following night D&rsquo;Puglia hosted an intimate VIP dinner in the same location celebrating "Mare, Vento, Terra"&mdash;the spirit of motion. Here, guests discovered VENTO, an exclusive residency perfume by Osmo, and toasted the launch of the &ldquo;Go Where The Wind Takes You&rdquo; non-profit, dedicated to conservation with Art Saint Barth and The Ocean Gala; women in leadership Women &amp; The Wind and Fiorio Cup; and the power of high intention execution with Parea Travel, Imperial Moto and Rubirosa. &nbsp;

Also, guests learned that D&rsquo;Puglia &ldquo;Go Where The Wind Takes You&rdquo; - in partnership with Horeca Made in Puglia srl and Save The Olives - will be a cultural programming partner of the upcoming Mediterranean Games 2026 taking place in Taranto, Puglia. With Olympic athlete Nicola Saveljic co-developing the Adriatic Youth Initiative - together with D'Puglia they will activate the program promoting youth empowerment during the games.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Day three brought the Mediterranean breeze to AKA Hotel Brickell for an artist meet-and-greet and book signing, welcoming AKA as a 2026 residency partner. Guests mingled with the creative minds behind the program: Antonio Aric&ograve;, Coco Brun, Federica Livia, Loug&egrave;, Vuk Ćuk, and DSCENE co-founder Katarina Dorić. Chiobbica 55 made its debut with a collaboration with michelin starred GYPSY CHEF &nbsp;presenting a curated aperitivo inspired by the legendary winds and specially crafted UNA Vodka cocktails.

Ending the week on a colourful and vibrant culinary note, the week&rsquo;s journey culminated on day four at LPM Miami, where French Riviera elegance meets Mediterranean joie de vivre. Calabrian artist, designer and creative director Antonio Aric&ograve;'s Art of Tomatini curated by Gordana Zgonjanin &amp; Antonio Aric&ograve; collection transformed LPM's iconic cocktail into a series of collectible objects&mdash;hand-illustrated napkins, sculptural pepper grinders, ceramic plates, and custom playing cards&mdash;celebrating where gastronomy becomes art.

Amid an art week that is notorious for bad traffic jams, D&rsquo;Puglia&rsquo;s VIP guests floated effortlessly between venues thanks to its partnership with Powerboats USA, embodying the program's philosophy of fluid movement across Miami's waterways&mdash;a partnership extending into 2026 with Manari Yachts.

D&rsquo;Puglia is especially emphatic about its residency program - an initiative where artists respond to place - which has set a strong foundation and continues to grow. Recently this past May, D'Puglia and DSCENE Magazine hosted international artists in Castro, Puglia&mdash;a historic town perched on the Adriatic coast. Immersed in the region's rhythms, light, and stories, artists created work across photography, writing, and installation, not to document Puglia, but to respond to it emotionally.&nbsp; The fruit of the labour of love from the residency came in the form of an evocative map of Mediterranean life, which was discovered at Art Basel Miami through the guidebook, installations, and collaborations with luxury partners including Flowers Winery (California), and Palazzo Tafuri (Puglia).

Art Basel Miami Beach week proved to be yet another beautiful chapter in D&rsquo;Puglia&rsquo;s long and exciting journey.&nbsp; As with every step along its journey, it leaves behind the spirit of its homeland and ancestral roots, touching the hearts and souls of everyone that it meets.&nbsp;&nbsp;
