Located in the heart of Gustavia’s Carré d’Or, Space Gallery St Barth presents its new seasonal showcase: a dynamic and eclectic Summer Exhibition bringing together an exceptional international selection of artists working across painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and conceptual art.
More than an exhibition, it is an invitation to feel, discover and look differently.
The exhibition unfolds through a fascinating range of artistic approaches. Dan Pelonis’ richly layered compositions meet Renée Levine’s luminous paintings of pearls, while Nathan Coe brings his refined vision through fine art photography and Hannah Polskin explores abstraction through works on wood. Victor Matthews adds his unmistakable symbolic language to the selection. A longtime presence in St Barth, Matthews is also known for his iconic murals, which can be admired at legendary island locations including Eden Rock and Villa Angelina. The journey continues with Nadia Fanelli’s expressive mixed-media works combining resin, oil, and acrylic; Rémy de Haenen’s paintings deeply inspired by St Barth; and Yoni Alter’s bold graphic and sculptural creations.
Together, these artists create an extraordinary dialogue between color, form, texture, light, memory, and narrative — a dialogue that feels particularly at home in St Barth.

Charles Moreau: the poetry of the island
Among this remarkable international roster, Charles Moreau stands apart with a deeply personal body of work celebrating the extraordinary beauty of St Barth’s natural world.
Renowned for his hyper-realistic botanical paintings, Moreau captures the island’s native flora with astonishing precision and sensitivity. Every leaf, every flower, every subtle variation becomes an invitation to stop, observe and rediscover the landscape that surrounds us.
A celebrated local artist and Director of the Wall House Museum, Moreau is a French realist painter whose work is rooted in an intense and almost intimate observation of nature. Working against neutral backgrounds, he allows each subject to command attention — transforming familiar fragments of the island into powerful works of art.
Inspired by St Barth’s lush landscape, his practice explores its fauna and vegetation through a contemporary and deeply personal approach, paying tribute to the beauty that exists not only in the spectacular, but also in the small, fragile and often overlooked details of island life.
Currently on view at the gallery, his latest works focus on emblematic species including Bougainvillea and Poirier Pays. Represented life-size and identified by their scientific Latin names, these meticulously rendered specimens become almost monumental in their presence.
Moreau does more than reproduce nature. He makes us see it again.
By elevating fragments of St Barth’s natural landscape into carefully observed compositions, he reveals a quiet poetry hidden in the world around us — reminding us that beauty is sometimes right in front of our eyes, waiting simply to be noticed.
