Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon celebrates a 280 year anniversary with a special edition piece by artist Daniel Arsham and a dinner during Paris Fashion Week.

The LVMH champagne house&rsquo;s 280 anniversary was marked with the launch of a new cuvee, the Collection Imp&eacute;riale Cr&eacute;ation No. 1, as a part of the new Collection Imp&eacute;riale line. This new addition to their portfolio blends seven different vintages to create a multilayered champagne. Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon is set to release a new creation every two years until the brand's 300th anniversary, meaning the release of this line is a step towards a larger celebration and an affirmation of the brand&rsquo;s ability to innovate.
To mark this launch Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon collaborated with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to create a new work and a special edition bottle case for the occasion. Arsham&rsquo;s new piece was inspired by stained glass windows in the Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon winery, which he had discovered with the cellar master, Beno&icirc;t Gouez, while spending time in the chateau&rsquo;s wine cellar. The final piece is a sculptural interpretation of the collection, decorated with motifs of the chateau itself along with cherubs and trumpets. The four part sculpture will soon be returned to the chateau and installed near the window that inspired the piece.&nbsp;
The celebration of the launch included a dinner with the cellar master along with Arsham and guests of the winery. A meal prepared by Michelin star chef Yannick All&eacute;no was served to guests in the H&ocirc;tel de Bourrienne, an 18th century private mansion known for hosting Napoleon as a guest. As part of the launch, only 5,000 bottles of the Collection Imp&eacute;riale Cr&eacute;ation No. 1 will be produced, along with 28 limited edition bottles by Arsham.
